As stated in legal filings, the person allegedly involved in the shooting targeting conservative commentator Charlie Kirk exchanged a series of SMS communications with his cohabitant after the occurrence.

Prosecutors indicated that the roommate told authorities that Tyler Robinson had instructed them to check beneath a computer accessory where a note was apparently discovered.

Law enforcement mentioned that the witness was a transgender male and was in a romantic relationship with the suspect.

Accused: stop what you’re doing, look under my keyboard.

Upon checking beneath that item, a written statement was located that allegedly said: "I was given the opportunity to target the figure and I intend to take it."

Housemate: "What is this? This is a joke, correct?

Individual: I am still ok my love, but am stuck in this area some additional time. It won’t take much time till I get back, but I need to grab my rifle though. Frankly I had hoped to hide this through my life. I apologize for dragging you in.

Housemate: it wasn’t you who committed the act right????

Accused: Yes, I'm sorry

Witness: I thought they detained the individual?

Individual: negative, they took an unstable old dude, later spoke to a person in similar clothing. I meant to grab my rifle from the hiding spot shortly after, though a large part of the region was secured. It’s calm, close to allowing to escape, yet there is one vehicle loitering.

Housemate: Why?

Individual: Why did I do it?

Witness: Yeah

Individual: I reached my limit of the hostility. Specific malice cannot be negotiated out.

Accused: If I am able to grab my rifle unseen, it would leave nothing behind. Intending to effort to retrieve it again, hopefully they have left the area. I haven't seen news on its discovery.

Witness: How long did you preparing for this?

Suspect: a bit over seven days in my estimation. I can get close the location however, there remains a police vehicle positioned close. I think they inspected that place, but I don't wanna chance it.

Suspect: I regret that I returned and grabbed it immediately after I reached my car.... I'm worried what my old man could react were I not to hand back the family weapon ... unsure if it had a serial number, but it wouldn't connect with me. Accused: my dad wants pictures of the gun ... he mentions my grandfather is curious about ownership, the feds shared an image of the gun, that is highly unusual. He is contacting me right now, not answering.

Individual: since trump assumed power my father became very committed an adherent.

Individual: I intend to turn myself in without resistance, a nearby resident happens to be a deputy with law enforcement.

Individual: you are what troubles me dear

Roommate: I'm much more worried about your situation

Accused: don't talk to news outlets I ask. refuse media appearances or make statements. ... should law enforcement question you request a lawyer and remain quiet
