🔗 Share this article BF6 Gamers Agree: Tasks Are Overly Demanding The debut of the highly anticipated Battlefield 6 received broad praise, notably for its flagship multiplayer mode. On Steam alone, simultaneous player numbers surged to nearly 750,000. Yet, regardless of its fanfare, a growing number of players are voicing discontent with some of the game's hardest challenges, which are required to access certain guns. Users have commenced turning to custom matches made via the custom game tool to finish these tasks, underscoring just how demanding these challenges have become. Grasping BF6 Objectives Missions serve as Battlefield 6's permanent multiplayer tasks, different from the regularly refreshed day-to-day and weekly tasks. The game includes four categories of assignments, but while the majority merely grant outfits and select equipment, achieving the firearm tasks is the only way of obtaining twelve from the forty-one main guns available in the game. A number of these restricted firearms might eventually find their way on lists of the best guns in Battlefield 6. Player Outcry across Reddit Over on Reddit, players are justifiably sharing their frustrations about how challenging and repetitive several of these challenges are. An individual player emphasized one of the most outrageous examples, needed to obtain the KTS100 MK8 LMG: Neutralize 300 foes with LMGs Inflict 10,000 hipfire damage with LMGs "This task is so atrocious and entirely ill-conceived, I want to scream in frustration," is a quote that summarizes just how frustratingly difficult these tasks are. Suppression in Battlefield is more diminished than before in the series, so it lacks nearly as many benefits in combat as it had in previous games. It only registers as suppression if you fail to hit several consecutive shots. Meanwhile, hipfiring an LMG is extremely unreliable and functions solely at point-blank proximity, which is not usually a position you aim to be. That player also highlighted the irony in the SMG challenge, needed to obtain the SCW-10, which requires kills while aiming down the sights, when that task would be considerably more fitting to hipfire kills, and conversely. Another Ridiculously Tough Task Another Reddit user brought attention to an additional excessively hard challenge, now in the sniper rifle category to obtain the PSR: Get 150 headshot kills from more than 200 meters away with sniper rifles This is difficult enough by itself, but there's another important point to consider: the majority of Battlefield 6 maps do not even allow combat at such a long range. There is a decent selection of map sizes, but since there are only nine levels in the game at present, it means you're limited to playing a specific urban map, Mirak Valley, and maybe a classic map if you're lucky if you plan to engage from afar from a significant distance. The Workaround There is a workaround though: the custom game tool. The custom game creator is a feature that enables you to design tailored experiences on the battleground of your choice, complete with bots. This allows you can bypass the intended method… but it isn't truly in line with the developer's vision. Yet, if doing the challenges in a standard match feels like anti-playing, since you have to play in such an atypical style that offers no advantage to anyone, is it surprising for grinding them out in a private match so teammates aren't hindered? Future Adjustments It should not be shocking if several of these tasks are toned down in the next few updates, because unless they are modified, some players simply are unlikely to obtain the locked firearms. Currently, the player base continues to voice their opinions on these strenuous in-game tasks, anticipating a fairer gaming experience in subsequent patches.
